The property is right for you if you like an elegant, genererous space where you not only sleep, but also enjoy time indoors. The beaches are 15 mins drive away, the Nathan Benderson Sports Park probably 25 mins. We enjoyed the generous interior which allowed us to spend the very hot hours indoors, have great meals (kitchen is serious gourmet material), work (very good internet), relax (great TV corner), terrace outside the smaller 2nd bedroom (master bedroom-> huge, ensuite bathrooom), etc. Listing the quality of the decoration and the furniture would take pages. Parking in the driveway is a real plus as well, the area is super safe, but sometimes it rains really hard in Sarasota, and that way you don't get your feet wet. Maybe I wouldn't have taken my children when they were little, or my old mom - the stairs to reach the apartment are open. We found a very good handbook on the ins and outs of the area, contact info, etc. The owner gave us excellent recommendations for some gourmet shopping - not cheap, but exactly what my son and I wanted - Publix etc. are very close, so the choice is yours! There was a tiny technical glitch which the very good manager (Michelle) and her husband sorted out - even though it was really late. If we go to Sarasota again, that's where we would stay!
